Experience the World’s longest Zipline in UAE – Rasal Khaimah
Dubai is well known for its multiple adventurous activities but on this visit, we explored the world’s longest zipline which is in Rasal Khaimah UAE.
It is a lesser-known tourist place but I recommend highly visiting this beautiful destination. Here is my whole adventurous experience from Dubai to Ras-Al-Khaimah.
Ras Al Khaimah’s Jebel Jais – the highest mountain in the UAE, is home to the world’s longest zipline. It’s a bucket list attraction for the UAE and the world. The zip line will travel at speeds of up to 120kph to 150kph at a height of 1,680 meters above sea level on top of Jebel Jais mountain.
How to reach Jabel Jais from Dubai?
Jabel Jais is 166 km approx from Dubai which takes you around 2 hours to reach. We started in early around 9 am in the morning so we can spend the whole day there. We went in our car with our other family members.I will strongly recommend taking a taxi to your destination as it convenient & its very scenic drive. The return taxi will cost you 500-600AED approx. The best months to visit this place are Nov-Feb which is pleasant in the weather & the kool breeze refreshes the mind.
We stopped in between for a short break. The infrastructure in UAE across is very good.
We bought few stuff like few drinks, chips for our way till Jabel Jais.
As we approached the dramatic landscape of the Hajar mountains it features deep canyons, eroded rocky cliffs and warped ridges at every turn.

We reached and we saw a fantastic Viewing Deck Park which offers stunning views of the mountain valleys of the Hajar mountain range. The viewing deck also happens to be the base camp for hikers and bikers who explore the mountain range.
The site also makes for a great picnic spot with its neat picnic tables, scenic walking trails and a fantastic food truck zone. It is a wonderful place to unwind amidst the wilderness with your friends and family.

Adventure activities In Jabel jais
If you are up for an adventure, you can try the Jebel Jais Via Ferrata, which is a rocky path specially created for rock climbers. The Via Ferrata lets you scale the Jebel Jais with the help of steel cables.The thrilling climb through the Via Ferrata offers stunning views of the valley as you will be about 400 feet above sea level. Alternatively, you can also climb up the Jebel Jais with cars.
The next big thing is trying the largest zipline. For this you have to prior booking for your time slot. This fun filled ride is designed with two parallel lines for the users to experience this thrill with their near and dear ones. The speed of flight is 150 km/hr with the length of 2.83 kms that approximately would measure over 28 soccer fields.
In addition to the thrill, this face-down in a superhero position flight through the sky will land you on a suspended platform with glass floor which is in the heart of these massive ranges 1680 meters above sea level.
This attraction is open to all age groups weighing more than 45 kgs to 150 kgs with minimum height limit of 120 cms. A 3 minute breath taking ride above the highest ranges of UAE will awe you with the spectacular bird eye view leaving you speechless.
The ticket price starts from 350 AED approx.
Checklist for Jebel Jais visit
Here is my checklist of things you must carry if you are planning to visit this place:
1) Thin jacket as its it gets windy on the top, a thin jacket is quiet handy.
2) Wear sneakers to be comfortable while walking on the rocky surface.
3) Water bottle & some dry snacks during your road journey on the mountains.
4) Motion sickness medicine, for people who get sick hill drive.
There big binocular on the so one can zoom through the mountains like a bird while being harnessed to the zip line in the superman position. The sunset view is just to magnetic.
